Website requests
Opening a page or local image sends an ordinary request to the website’s hosting infrastructure. Such infrastructure may process information including your IP address, requested resource, browser information and request time for delivery, reliability and security. This static website does not itself provide an account database or an analytics dashboard. Hosting-level processing is separate from the local browser tools described below.
No built-in advertising or analytics
The supplied site code contains no advertising trackers, third-party analytics, external fonts or embedded third-party media. Images, styles and scripts are requested from the site itself. External reference links are not loaded as embedded resources; visiting one takes you to another publisher with its own practices.
Contact draft utility
The contact form processes your entries locally using JavaScript. Preparing a draft does not submit it to a server or email it to the editorial desk. The tool does not intentionally store form contents in cookies or localStorage. Entries remain in the current page state until changed or the page is discarded, subject to your browser’s own history, autofill, extensions and session-restoration behaviour.
Copying places the draft on your device’s clipboard. Downloading creates a text file on your device. Clipboard history, cloud synchronisation, downloaded files and access by other device users are controlled by your device and software, not by this website. Review personal information before using either function.
Email you choose to send
If you separately send an email to [email protected], the message, sender address and associated email metadata are processed through email systems to receive, assess and respond to the correspondence. Include only information relevant to your request. Do not send medical records, identity documents, passwords or financial information.
Correspondence should be retained only as needed to handle the request, keep a relevant editorial record, address security concerns or meet applicable obligations. This page does not promise a fixed deletion period for hosting or email systems. You can ask about a specific message using the contact address.
Browser preferences
The Cookie Preferences page can save a preference in localStorage under lookoutraplunz-cookie-preference. It stores a choice, not your name or message. The site reads that value to display your saved preference. No optional tracking is installed by the supplied code, regardless of the choice.
You can clear this value using the preference page or your browser’s site-data controls. Blocking browser storage does not prevent access to the guides or the local message tool.
Your choices and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or other action concerning personal information handled about you. Send a specific request to the editorial email address. Verification may be necessary, and rights can be subject to legal exceptions. You may also have a right to complain to your relevant data-protection authority.
Scope and changes
This notice does not govern linked websites, your browser provider, extensions or your own email service. Information handling can change if site functionality changes; consult this page before providing personal information. No website or communication method can be guaranteed completely secure.
